Yesterday's Cupcake Ride was a lot of fun as always. Gigi's Cupcakes gave us amazingly delicious and free cupcakes, milk and water (thank you!). We rode from Hillsboro Village to Gigi's for our cupcakes. After getting sick, in the most awesome way, from all the sugar, we rode to Legislative Plaza to trick around, hang out, and take some pictures. After getting kicked off out of Legislative (apparently those stone squares are 15,000 each), we rode over to the courthouse for some more fun riding and playing in the fountains. It was the most perfect fall day with a gorgeous sunset. You can find more pictures here.

Fixé Magazine In Stock at Velo Cult for US purchase
Fixé is a new fixed gear oriented magazine from the creators of Cream, a French BMX magazine. This first issue came out really nice and it is really cool that they decided to do a multiple page spread on Velo Cult/San Diego. There are two different versions of the magazine. Each having a different cover and back. We will be shipping these randomly.
There aren’t many places to find these here in the states so get your copy while they last. Supplies are very limited.

The one day of the year we pay tribute to what started this whole fixed gear thing....
not the cool as celebrities we see riding this bikes today or not that dope as girl that said she though bikes were cute, the guys who way back when put that lock ring on and put in work on the nyc streets,

Holy Shit! The guy w/ the white rims does some legit bar spins in this vid. Not to mention none of these guys look sketchy doing these at all. Style points = yes!
